New York Magazine covered Harvard’s Class of 2003 just had their five-year reunion, and their write-up made one thing crystal clear for me: I’ve got a lot of work to do in the next three years. From the piece, which you can also read here:
Roughly a third of Harvard’s class of 2003 lives in New [...]
With an endowment the size of Harvard’s, they’d better have the best dorms…
Harvard revealed in March that it would embark on a $1 billion renovation project of all 12 undergraduate Houses over the course of 10 to 15 years, starting as early as 2011. The estimated cost is vastly more than Harvard has ever spent [...]
I think any parent can vouch for as much. I think Dana Carvey had it right. Parenthood is actually this evil little club, and once you get into the Parenthood Club, all you do is entice others to join in your misery by proclaiming what a pain-free joy children are.
From Fox News:
Marriage has been shown, [...]
Harvard grad Charles Tilly succumbed to his 20-year battle with cancer this week, leaving behind a legacy that includes over 600 published articles, 51 books and loving former students from Harvard, the University of Michigan and Columbia. On Sunday, the Harvard Republican Club and Harvard College Democrats passed a bipartisan bill in the Undergraduate Council specifically geared towards Harvard ROTC students. This bill, entitled Supporting ROTC Students and developed according to recommendations from the Harvard ROTC Association and current ROTC cadets and midshipmen at Harvard, has three primary components:

From The Harvard Crimson:
Nearly three centuries ago, University President Benjamin Wadsworth, Class of 1690, moved into the [...]
I’ve received enough e-mails about my choice to cover less-mainstream aspects of Islam to address them all in a post.
What the United States is dealing with in the Middle East is not a race war, as Robert Parker wrote yesterday. It is far deeper than race. It is a religious war, and radical Islam has [...]
It’s been a rough week for the Ivy League.
Yale’s still suffering from the fallout of art student Aliza Shvarts, who will be forever immortalized for her senior art project that depicts herb-induced abortions/miscarriages. Now the Yale administration is faced with the tough task of cleaning up after Shvarts’ mess, an endeavor that is made even [...]

An upcoming event from the Harvard Republican Club:
The Wellesley College Republicans will be hosting their annual Spring Lecture on Tuesday, April 29. They have worked very hard to be able to have George Allen as the keynote speaker. Former Senator Allen will be speaking on the topic of illegal immigration, one of much controversy on liberal campuses such as [...]
Karl Rove made an appearance on the Harvard campus on Friday to address the Harvard Republican Club and other members of the Harvard community. He also had time for an interview for On Harvard Time, the campus’ comedy television show. Frances Martel from RedIvy attended the show’s taping:
It is wonderful to see people like Rove, who so many [...]
