This guy deserves to receive the rape, torture and agony he wrought on this poor Columbia grad student, whose testimony helped jurors find him guilty on all but two of the forty-something counts against him.

Of course the execution of gays in Muslim countries is the US’s fault. Note to Muslim extremists: When in doubt, always blame the country that affords its citizens the most personal freedoms for the injustices committed on your own soil.

Harvard grad Charles Tilly succumbed to his 20-year battle with cancer this week, leaving behind a legacy that includes over 600 published articles, 51 books and loving former students from Harvard, the University of Michigan and Columbia. The Columbia Spectator has some nice quotes from past students and a brief bit on Tilly’s life.
