Ivy League Conservatives has officially been around for a month now. Since then, the site’s seen a gazillion redesigns and upgrades, but things have stabilized somewhat in the last two weeks. Here’s the ILC roundup that picks up where we left off last week.I watched Fitna for the first time and got wrapped up in the fallout of its release. Everyone seems to either be supporting Geert Wilders or trying to hang him, even here in the States. My posts certainly involved far more Islamofascism than before, especially as I saw footage of a Muslim children’s program, read a story about a mother’s love for Islam over her own son and learned that the world’s leading source of terrorist funding is, indeed, one of our ‘allies’. The film seems to have ignited new discussions about Muslims throughout Europe. London had a brief scare this week as a bomb plot that involved 7 transatlantic liners was thwarted, and people worldwide shut off their lights for one hour.Back in the USA,  I wrote about domestic jihadism and the local terrorism that’s happening around our country after watching a Fox News special documentary on the subject. A man in Orlando, Florida was detained after materials used to make pipe bombs were found in his luggage. San Francisco advocates its don’t ask, don’t tell policy on residential/alien status,  ABC News thinks Girl Scouts are to blame for our obesity epidemic, Comedy Central infiltrates the liberal walls of Berkeley, which has its own spending problems, apparently. And back to politics:McCain: One great ad after another, Crazy Howard Dean calls him an opportunist, answers Clinton’s ‘3AM call’ ad,Obama: Hanoi Jane endorses him [and I post a poll asking you what you think about it], he looks pretty chummy with Rev. Wright in this video, does not like concealed weapons. If you like reading Ivy League Conservatives, please don’t forget to subscribe so that my feeds can be delivered right to your inbox or feed reader!
