Weekly Roundup: 4/5-4/11

This week went by way too quickly. I upgraded to Wordpress 2.5, which will fix the complete lack of page breaks in my posts from here on out. I also got my first conservative hate note via BlogCatalog.

The blogosphere saw a Mexican Absolut ad and helped create the quick–but weak–apology. Conservatives around the country mourned the loss of Charlton Heston, and the Ivy League community mourned the loss of Columbia grad student Minghui Yu. Although Mike Monsoor did not die last week, he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously.

If you wanted more proof that conservatives don’t care about Gore–or would just like a good laugh–watch this video. Also in liberal politics: Clinton’s campaign strategist resigns, anti-McCain groups don’t have the funding to campaign against him, and Obama might be a closet case.

And in Islamofascism this week, we learned about the sharia on Wall Street, the continuing Fitna fallout, and saw a completely irrelevant Fitna remake targeting Christianity. If you haven’t signed the Flight 93 Memorial petition, you can do so here

Have a great weekend!
