Global Warming and Napa Wines: Excuse Me, I Just Threw Up a Little

On Thursday’s “Today” show co-anchors Ann Curry and Hoda Kotb sipped wine, while Lempert claimed that North Carolina wines were going to be all the rage because Napa Valley wineries were being harmed by “global warming.”
The transcript on the NewsBuster site cites Lempert as saying that by the end of this century, Napa will be about six degrees warmer.
Could someone please tell me how the temperature in Napa in 2099 affects the 2005, 2006 and 2007 vintage bottles that are being opened in 2008? And while that’s taking place, could someone hit these global warming alarmists over the head and tell them to keep their noses in the forests where they belong and out of the realm of food and beverage?
